food in london

we certainly did not eat like royalty in london the first time around!

we lived of a steady diet of clementines, cornish pastries, carrots, and crackers. by the time we reached france, we were ready for real meals.

that said, we did experience a fair amount of pub grub {including overpriced and somewhat flavorless fish and chips!}.

funny moments in paris

out of all the incredible, world-renowned food in france, {in particular, PARIS}the only thing k specifically requested was a hot-dog with cheese! i know, i couldn't believe it either, but i agreed.

it was just a disgusting as we thought it would be.

this still makes me laugh and i doubt either one of us will eat another hot-dog again for a long, long time.

more interesting recipes to come, i promise.

amazing indian curry in london

all food should be indian food : )

during our first few days in london, k & i ate very little. we stuck to the cheapest foods and had a terribly limited diet consisting of - carrots, crackers, chocolate covered digestives, and powerbars - yum.

one night we were starved for a good meal and found a darling traditional indian restaurant near victoria station. we were the only people in the whole place so it was incredible quiet and the service was excellent!

the kind waiter offered to take our picture but my camera confused him, so i will not be posting those - two blurry ones of our arms at the table and the food, no faces. : )

p.s. does anyone know of any incredible indian curry dishes? i have been wanting to make one but i cannot find a good recipe.

also, isn't k a cutie?

the salad that changed our lives

pictures from k & my favorite meal in all of europe! we ate dinner at le relais gascon, a restaurant in montmartre famous for their "really big salads." i would highly recommend this lovely place considering it was the best salad of my life {please study the first photo}

we met up with kandyce's friend aurelie & lorraine & diner lasted somewhere between 4 & 1/2 to 5 hours. it was all too wonderful & parisian!

i miss france.

love,
